I went on a tradeoff with my papi Elder Bravo this week! Bringing back the good ol times. He didn't get his driving privileges until recently, and he drove since we were in Tallahassee, and I'm just glad he didn't have those privileges when we were in fort walton together... He has not been blessed with the gift of driving. Almost got in a serious crash. So he won't be driving next time. hahaWe had another low week in numbers. We had a super great lesson with Lilian, and we brought a husband and a wife with us and we taught the restoration again hoping she'd understand the authority to baptize. Anddd still no. But she's progressing.
Didn't get to see Samuel the dream guy. His wife went to the hospital and he has a weird work schedule. Hopefully see him this week.
On the tradeoff we stopped at Maclay road by Maclay Gardens and I got some sweet pics. Behold, here they are.We started teaching these really cool guys, Josue and Alex. They're bros and 17 and 19. Yesterday we had a lesson and as we were finishing Josue told us after giving him the Book of Mormon, "It really means a lot that you guys would give this to us, it shows your care and love." Then Alex agreed and said "Yeah, we appreciate you coming over, when you visit us and come in our house it's like God himself coming in here and talking with us." It was SO sick.Beto, the guy who almost got baptized came back from South Carolina. As we were leaving the lesson with Josue and Alex, we saw him driving with some friends, and he totally just drove away from us. It was a low move. Him, Alex, Josue, Celo, and everyone else in their mom is trying to leave quincy though. They all might be gone soon. Nobody at the age of 18 to 21 wants to be in quincy since there's not really opportunity to do anything, nor is there anything here. haha
The other pic is old but I just got it. It was our combined district activity from a couple weeks ago.
