Week of February 2, 2015 "My stud comp Elder Palau is leaving me".

Transferssss. My stud comp Elder Palau is leaving me. 

 This week was saweet though. Guess who is going to baptize a Brazillian pastor? Not us. But we did get stuck trying to teach a lesson to one yesterday. We had an appointment with a Brazillian, and the little trickster had a pastor and his family come over at the same time. This week we were having a family history competition in the zone, so we were like "Well this could easily turn into a long lesson of bible bashing so we'll kick it simple and do family history with them" Lesson learned. Nothing is simple enough for a pastor. All we had to do was say the words "family tree" and he found a way to argue. I don't want to go into details but wowsas, it was a fun time.

 Crazy story. We started teaching this guy named Ramon Andraca, about 3 weeks ago. This last week we met this lady that lived in the same town homes named Ismene Andraca. So we asked if the ramon that lived around the corner was her bro and she said yep. A few days later we taught Ismene, and 2 guys that live with her. We were getting to know them when we first came in and told her we had seen her bro Ramon the day before. They started to look confused, and Ismene's husband was like, "You mean him?", pointing to the third person in the room that had not said anything the whole time. We said uhhh no. Long story short there was 2 Ramon Andracas from Guerrero, Mexico that lived in the same complex but didn't know each other.

Then. We met a 3rd one... Ramon andraca number 1 has a son with the same name that lives with him. Small world. Our teaching records are going to confuse the heck out of future missionaries.

 George was out of town for a week and a half but still went to church and everything while he was gone. Jordan and Anita are still studs. Jordan gave us about 100 donuts this week since he works at a donut place. We dished those things out to every Hispanic in Destin. "cooked goose for everyone!"

 Don't know what's going to happen with transfers but it's very possible that I'll be in what we call a "zebra" companionship. It's when there's an english and a Spanish companion are together. Me being the brown part of the zebra (if zebra's were brown) and an English guy being the white.
