"You know those people that read the bible then go crazy?"

Hello! Yeah so we didn't have time to send emails yesterday since a bunch of people kept asking us for help with stuff so we got permission today. We had a pretty fun week though! A ton of service, but we still had some time to teach.

Daniel's doing pretty good! He's actually smiling and laughing and showing emotion now! Before he was always super serious and way too chill. But yeah it's been cool seeing him change a little bit, slowly and slowly. He still has a ways to go with his doubts and everything though. 

Maria and Carlos are super awesome. We've finally been getting some solid lessons with them together and I have a good feeling about them. Carlos is the funniest guy ever; we were teaching the plan of salvation, and he was super caught up on Eve eating the forbidden fruit. He was like, "Why'd she have to do that? I don't get it." haha He was just so upset.

We finally saw Yolanda again. She's doing good but Jose was sleeping so we didnt teach him too. She's the coolest girl ever and I love teaching her. I'm hoping she keeps progressing because she really wants to, but some things are preventing her from doing what she knows she should sometimes.

We had the weirdest lesson ever with Edith and Santos. Santos asks the most random questions in the world. We asked him if he has ever wondered the purpose of life, and he was like, no. But then he threw out questions like these: "You know the movie the day after tomorrow? Do you think that's really happening? You know those people that read the bible then go crazy? What do you think about that? Do you believe we came from monkeys? On a scale of 1 to 10, what is your knowledge of the bible?" That is the most confused man I've ever met. haha

That was pretty much our week! Raul's out of town so we'll hopefully get with him this week. But other than that, everything's going super well. Love you and have an awesome week!
