The 2 Fort Walton Districts and Joel Gomez on P-Day

Super awesome week! We've been teaching a ton of lessons lately, and we've been able to bring the members out with us a lot more to lessons.

First of all, the baptism for Cindy and Karen... We talked to them this week about it. Karen said she doesn't feel ready. Cindy says that she knows she needs to do it, and nothing is holding her back, but she's still not sure yet. So it's most likely not going to happen this Saturday, but there's a tiny weeny bit of hope for Cindy. It would be tough though. So pray for her!

We've started teaching one of our Hispanic's husband Bro Manley! It was our second lesson this week because he's kind of tough to find home since he's military. But he's a stud and he read 8 chapters of the Book of Mormon after the first visit. He's the only white guy we teach and he understands everything great. His wife gets super pumped every time too, and loves us teaching him.

We did another church tour this week. This time it was with our crack addict. And it went pretty good, but she always refuses to pray. Apparently our church tours don't work since ten minutes after the lesson, she offered crack to our member that gave her a ride home... Kinda frustrating. haha

Colombians are my favorite. They're the nicest people ever and all of the Colombians I know are the bomb. That's all I have to say about that.

So yesterday something cool happened. We parked our car at some girls house to try to visit her. She wasn't home, so we went to leave, then I was like, "hey let's walk over to capri commons before we leave" (since there's a trailer park with investigators nearby) And we decided to walk insted of drive. So we started walking and we ended up seeing a Hispanic. So we went to talk to him, then remembered that it was the house of one of our member's niece! So she invited us right in for some posole, then like 5 minutes later, Margarita, the aunt walks in. So we ended up having a lesson with the aunt there, unplanned. And the niece we were teaching wouldn't believe us that Margarita didn't send us over to her house planned. haha

We're teaching a lot of great people right now, there's just a lot of people firmly set on their beliefs. So it'll take a while for a lot of these people, but there's a lot of hope and future. We're still working on starting a group right now, but it's tough since we haven't had support yet. But that's pretty much the week for ya! Love you all!
