Our zone leaders last transfers, Elder Evans



 

 

 

 

The baptism didn't happen this weekkkk.. Cindy and Karen need more time. But they're still close, so pray your little noggins out for them. They're doing good, and they came to a baptism that happened for the english people on Saturday.

 

Church was the bomb this week! So we invited all of the hispanics in Destin, the town next door. And almost all of them came! Normally we have like 8 hispanics in fort walton church, but combined, and then with our investigators there, we had like 27ish hispanics! we're trying to start a branch, and the mission president was supposed to speak with the stake president yesterday about it, so we'll see what happens. We have enough people, and the members would be pumped about it.

 

Happy late valentine's day! We had a good valentine's day. We had a big conference with the mission president and our zone, which was flippin 8 hours long! But it was good. Then, one of our investigators Wendy, invited us over for dinner for valentine's day, and we watched a church movie with her.

 

We are making slow progress with a lot of people. Everything takes a bunch of time.

Yolanda moved and so she's been too busy for us. And she's kind of backing off from us too, which is a bummer... We haven't seen her in over a month. Saw Daniel again and he's not really going anywhere. He has doubts about science that he feels like he'll never get over.

The crack addict is doing good! She likes us a lot, and she's finally trying a little harder to participate in the lessons, and pray and everything. She was going to invite us over for valentines day too, but then couldn't. We try to visit her a couple times a week since she needs a lot of help.
