"We had the baptism of Valeria Gordillo!"

Valeria Gordillo
I love you mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy birthday! <3

We had the baptism of Valeria Gordillo! Everything went perfect and she was the happiest girl on the planet(after being the most nervous on the planet). But it went great and I was super happy I was able to perform the baptism for her. Her parents are members and they're super awesome too. They're our Destin members.

This week was pretty great. We're getting closer to starting the branch. We decided it would start at 1 and it will be held in Destin. So we just have to get the stake pres to approve everything and make the callings and we're good to go! We have a lot of people dogging on us and especially the first counselor of our ward is being super negative about the branch not working. But we're getting close. We've still been doing a ton of finding this week, and we've found a lot. We have about three people who seem pretty solid. We just started teaching them obviously so we'll see as time goes on.

We met this girl Linda who is a relative of Maria R who we teach every once in a while. But Linda is way more solid. She just moved in, and right now she's just living with a bed on the floor, but we were able to teach her the restoration, and she's pumped to read the Book of Mormon. She was already looking through it before we left. She's really nice, and she's had crazy miracles happen in her life.
We met the nicest guy on the planet. Efrain. He was in Destin and he invited us right in. He wants to go to church but he is looking for a service on Saturday because that's his day off. But he's had a ton of family problems, and also a huge ol tumor in his head before. So he's gone through a lot but he's super positive and happy and he wants to take us to golden corral next week to eat. So he's a stud and he almost biked 6 miles Saturday to go to the baptism and activity that we had.
And for the investigators that we already have. Cindy and Karen are getting closer all he time but still have some work to do. Before the lesson with them, we went to the park to hang out with Beverlyn and Emerson until Cindy got home. They're the coolest kids on the block and it was super fun. I don't have too much more to talk about. But we're trying to work hard with our split area and everything's going great. We're being blessed. I love you all!
