Week of March 24, 2014 "It kept trying to climb up my shoe but rabies aren't my favorite thing to have so I flicked it off".

Elder Palau, Elder MacLay, Elder Rios-Lazo, Elder Lopez

This week made me feel like we're basically starting everything over from the start. We still have our more solid investigators that we already had but we're pretty much finding a whole new set of everyone to teach right now. And it's working pretty good. It's weird teaching so many lessons from the bottom though. We taught like 4 lessons in a row on Saturday about how to pray, and who Christ is and stuff. A lot of Hispanics say they believe in Christ but then they have no idea what that means. So anyways, back to the start for the most part.

Cindy and Karen are working a lot because they do cleaning and it's spring break so the hotels are super packed and busy. Same with all the other Hispanic girls in Fort Walton.. But they're still doing okay.
So a couple weeks ago I talked about this stud american girl Katy that was pumped when she found us because her friend gave her a Book of Mormon the day before. Wellll the sisters have been teaching her, and she's the smartest girl ever. And we saw her when we went to Destin again and she came running up to us and told us she had just met with the sisters before seeing us, and they taught the plan of salvation and she thought it was true! And she gave us these thank you cards to me and Rios-Lazo, for teaching her and finding her. So she's a stud and I was excited about that.

Ummmm not much other exciting news. This stud Efrain guy in Destin took us to Golden Corral on Saturday. He wants to go to church but he can't get Sunday off. So we'll see what happens but yeah, he's the nicest guy I've met in all my days. And the second nicest guy ever is this black guy from Honduras named Victor. He looks like your every day homeboy, because he's from some Galifuna clan or something. Also a stud.

That's all I really have for the week. Here's a picture of our pet squirrel that was following us around when we were proselyting. It kept trying to climb up my shoe but rabies aren't my favorite thing to have so I flicked it off. Love you have a great week!
